The Beechcraft Starship, also known as the Model 2000 Starship, is an executive transport aircraft that was designed and developed by Beech Aircraft Corporation over the years between 1983 and 1993. During its production run, 53 models were built with some still in limited use. The Starship initially was developed in an attempt to succeed the King Air line of aircraft with one that could perform at greater speeds and have an increased passenger capacity. The Starship features a carbon fiber composite airframe with candards and pusher propellers, forgoing a vertical tail . The three variants of the Starship that were designed over its production life included the Model 115, Model 2000, and Model 2000A.
