The Phenom 100 is used by private fliers, companies, charter operators, and military operators such as the Brazilian Air Force, Pakistani Air Force, and the United Kingdom’s Royal Air Force. Development of the aircraft began in 2005, with its first flight taking place in 2007. It received its type certificate from Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Authority on December 9, 2008, and the first Phenom 100 was delivered just weeks later. Variants of the aircraft include the EMB 500, Phenom 100E, Phenom 100EV Evolution, and the U-100. As of 2019, there were 369 Phenom 100 aircraft in service in 37 countries.
