The HAL Dhruv features two Turbomeca TM 333-2B2 turboshaft engines producing 1,000 horsepower each, permitting a maximum cruise speed of 135 knots. The helicopter may also operate with a fuel tank capacity of 363 gallons, allowing for an effective travel range of 346 nautical miles with an average fuel economy of 0.95 nautical miles per gallon.
