The Aviat Eagle II is an aerobatic biplane aircraft that was designed by Frank Christensen and is currently produced by the American manufacturer Aviat Aircraft Inc. The Eagle II is a kit form aircraft, meaning that it is intended for homebuilding. The aircraft features a box truss fuselage design and single bay staggered biplane wings. Within the Eagle II, a pilot and one passenger may be situated in tandem within a bubble canopy. The Eagle II uses a variety of materials for its structure, such as a chromoly steel fuselage and tail, aluminum skinned forward fuselage, fabric tail covering, and Sitka spruce wood wing structure.
