Thank you for your interest in our available inventory of Piper Warrior parts and components. The Warrior serves as a variant of the Piper PA-28 Cherokee, originally designed and manufactured by Piper Aircraft. The Piper Cherokee first began production in 1961, and over 32,700 units of the base model and its variants have been produced to date. The Warrior variant in particular is a model that was first released under the new Piper Aircraft company in 1974, serving as the Piper Cherokee Warrior. As compared to its predecessor models, the Warrior was designed with a stretched body and a semi-tapered wing. As the production of the aircraft family continued, subsequent Warrior models were released, including the PA-28-161 Warrior II and PA-28-161 Warrior III.

The Piper Warrior variant features a single Lycoming 0 320 D3G aircraft engine capable of producing 160 horsepower, allowing the aircraft to reach a cruise speed of 117 knots at 75% power. With a fuel capacity of 50 gallons stored within two separate tanks, the Piper Warrior has a travel range of around 650 miles. As an aircraft, the Piper Warrior touts an inexpensive price while still providing safety during flight and reasonable performance characteristics. The most distinct design choice of the Warrior that sets it apart from similar aircraft is its stabilator, in which the entire horizontal tail pivots together to act as the elevator.
